What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I’m a big movie nut and I like to read. I love walks and bike rides in the park. And whenever possible, I love pulling up a patch sand on a beach somewhere and doing my impression of that Corona beer commercial. And, in spite of the fact that I travel for work so much, my wife and I love to travel for fun. My wife and I are going to the Galapagos Islands next year. I can’t wait! It’s one of the big ones on my bucket list. It’s a long list and I’m not getting any younger.
What are you most proud of regarding APP?
It’s always been very important to me that I believe in what I sell. When a customer can see the conviction in your eyes and feels the confidence that you have in a truly quality product, it makes the job much easier and enjoyable. The other thing that makes my job easy is the extensive breadth of products available. APP has the most power solutions available anywhere. When you can match the best possible solution to each unique customer problem, the whole process is simplified.
What do you like most about the APP team?
Two things. First, we have a GREAT group of people. The kind of people you want to be friends with whether you work together or not. Second, our team is the most experienced and professional group of individuals in the industry. Every day I learn something new from my co-workers. We work very well together as a team and help each other, all with the goal of taking care of the customer to the very best of our collective abilities. It’s like no other organization I know and it’s an honor to be a part of it.
