The MV Series rectifiers are based on variable transformer technology. This proven technology assures high quality DC currents with a constant ripple of 5% throughout the whole output range. In addition to a robust and durable construction, the MV Series also offers high efficiency and good mains response (sine-wave form, no harmonic distortion).
Oil/water-cooled systems are a strong and reliable solution for applications in harsh industrial environments. These designs allow a more compact integration of power. The main components are built into a corrugated steel tank. The heat losses are transferred through a heat exchanger allowing an external cooling water circuit to remove the heat. The adjustment of these rectifiers is done by means of a motor driven variable transformer.
